Pastured Angus Beef

Here at Barrett Cabin Farms, our cattle are raised rotating across 40 acres of pasture, giving them continuous access to fresh grass and a healthy, low-stress environment. Our beef is grass-raised and grain-finished, a method that produces excellent marbling and a mild, traditional beef flavor many families prefer.

All beef is processed at a USDA-inspected facility, then carefully cut, vacuum-sealed, and frozen to lock in freshness. We take pride in offering beef you can feel confident feeding your family.

Beef shares are offered by waitlist only. When shares become available, customers will be contacted in the order received. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your share and is applied toward your final balance at pickup.

Shares are processed with a standard cut selection that includes family favorites such as halved chuck roasts, ribeyes, T-bones, porterhouse steaks, sirloin steaks, sirloin tip steaks, cubed steak, short ribs, and ground beef. Quantities vary by share size.

All orders must be picked up on the farm in Murfreesboro, NC. Customers will be notified of the expected pickup date approximately two weeks in advance. A specific pickup time will be provided on the day of pickup once the beef is ready from the processor.

About Our Pricing

Bulk beef shares are priced by hanging weight, which is the standard method used by processors. Hanging weight reflects the size of the animal before trimming and packaging. Final take-home (packaged) weight typically averages about 65% of hanging weight. Estimated take-home weights are provided to help customers plan freezer space and understand expected yield. Actual weights may vary slightly by animal.
