About Us

We officially started Barrett Cabin Farms in 2020. What began as a small flock of chickens and soon, a small herd of cows, has blossomed into a full-fledge farm that produces wholesome food for our family. We began our farm with our two boys in mind. We wanted them to be able to grow up learning about the responsibility of taking care of things on the farm while understanding and appreciating where our food comes from.

Our family takes pride in the livestock we raise here on the farm. Our Angus cattle, along with our dairy cow, can be seen grazing the pastures. Our heritage cross pigs are staying cool in the woods in the summer or cozy in their barn in the winter. And, our chickens and heritage turkeys are either busy laying their fresh eggs in their spacious coop or free-ranging around the farm. Our honey bees are busy foraging to make our honey. Our hands and our hearts are full here on the farm and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
