
Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 28 oz petite diced tomatoes
- 32 oz jar marinara sauce (I prefer Rao’s Marinara)
- 1 tsp of italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 12 oz farfalle pasta or lasagna pasta
Garnish
- ricotta cheese
- parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown ground beef until cooked through.
- Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, italian seasoning, and garlic to pot and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add pasta and simmer until pasta is cooked, stirring occasionally. If using lasagna pasta, break into pieces before adding to the pot.
- Serve garnished with a dollop of ricotta cheese and sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese.
