
Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 12 oz whipped cream
- 6 oz strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 20 oz sliced strawberries, fresh or frozen
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400º.
- Crush pretzels using a food processor.
- In a medium bowl, add pretzels, melted butter and 1/4 sugar until combined.
- Press mixture into a 9″ x 13″ baking dish and bake for 6 minutes.
- While crust is cooling, combine cream cheese and granulated sugar and mix until smooth. Add whipped cream, and continue to mix until well combined.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust, making sure to fully cover entire surface.
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, turn off heat and add strawberry jello. Stir until jello is completely dissolved.
- Add strawberries to jello and let it come to room temperature.
- Very carefully, pour strawberry mixture over cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, until jello is congealed.
